Jane Shepherdson is no longer the new face at Whistles, I'm just behind with things. It has to be said though, hasn't she turned things around? There's quite a variety within their range, which makes me think if I had to, I wouldn't mind an entire whistles wardrobe. To be fair, there's so much I want, if I could afford to buy it all my wardrobe would predominantly be Whistles orientated this week. From simple fisherman knits to laddered, jumpers that are perfect for the grunge look of the season. Their dresses, though there are a couple of exceptions of course, have refreshingly veered away from second-skin materials. In their place, shift dresses have been revived with abstract prints and fine details that make each piece seem extra special, with zip detailing on cuffs rather than the back, careful lashings of sequins, and a certain something about every piece that brings an edginess that can be dressed up or down whatever your style.
My favourite looks are shown above, and I'd say whatever your opinion was of Whistles....it's definitly worth a second look.
