Breton

Classic, classic, classic and what's not to love. I can confess I've not worn a breton style top since it was forced upon me against my will on my 12th birthday....but looking back at those photos, the top looks a lot better than my twelve year old fashion oblivious brain ever incorporated....(which incidentally makes me marvel at Tavi some more...).

However, now the time has come I feel, to invest in one of these classic pieces. I'm not such a fan of it's sailor connotations, so I'm looking for something with a 'modern take' and probably a top rather than a dress as my hips really aren't asking to be exaggerated any further, but there's so many places to look and so many pieces to choose from, where are you meant to start?
