Golden Globes 2010

I've just had a search through what was worn at the Golden Globes, and thought it was collectively disappointing. It lacked all the glamour I was expecting, and there were dresses that made you wonder who on Earth told the celebrity parading them to the public, that they looked good?! However, there were some exceptions and they did look stunning. Here's a few of the good, the bad and the ....neither here nor there.

Gaining another invaluable style point (not that she seems to be needing them now), to Victoria Beckham, Courtney Cox looked effortlessly elegant and stunning in this classic gown.

I was quite impressed with Fergie's dress choice. It wasn't particularly inspiring but such a beautiful gown and fitted to perfection. The colour is also gorgeous - what the hell I just love Elie Saab! And love her new hair colour too.

Kate Hudson looked phenomenal in this structured gown by Marchesa. It's nice to see her in something a little more 'fashion forward'. The white matching of everything might have been a bit much, but then the shoes are just equally jaw droppingly gorgeous. All in all my favourite look!

Now I feel like we're looking at the Golden Globes! This is what I expected to see more off.  Top-to-toe pure glamour; an exquisite dress by Oscar de la Renta.

I couldn't decide on this one. Diane Kruger has been looking really good lately, especially in the promotion for Inglourious Basterds, but I can't decide whether this was a slightly brave choice in Christian Lacroix, that worked out well or a potentially gorgeous dress that didn't seem to suit Diane.

I'm tied again on this Louis Vuitton as well. It's an interesting/potentially hideous dress and I think in any other colour it would have been hideous, but that pink-burgundy looks amazing on Zoe Saldana's skin tone and she personally looks stunning. It's a tough one!

And then there were those who sadly got it very wrong. Hang your heads in shame Elisbeth Moss, Julianne Moore, Rita Wilson and Tea Leoni. One wash out colour, one baggage like Balenciaga, one with a rose print I'm sure my nan had on curtains, and then Tea Leoni... I'm intrigued to what happened to her dress, because she can't really have put together that shirt and skirt combo for this event?

Who do you think looked the best and worst??
