Typical

Last year I spent the whole of winter searching for a slouchy, oversized chunky knit jumper. One that could completely swamp me in its warmth, with super long sleeves that would keep my knuckles cosy, and frame fingers stacked full with rings. However, it seems last season wasn't the time for slouchy, oversized chunky knits! I ended up eventually finding a huge cardigan by Boutique at Topshop, which has been lovely and worn a fair bit considering I only discovered it right on the brink of winter turning to spring.

It is typical then, that this year when I am not in need of a chunky knit jumper that Topshop has them in abundance. In fact they have two that I love, and that I feel I need to buy despite having bought the aforementioned cardigan, because I wanted one so, so badly last year. It just feels like a purchase that must be made.

Problem is, I don't know which one.

Knitted Slouchy Cocoon Jumper £38

Knitted Fisherman Ribbed Jumper £42

The black one is essentially exactly what I was looking for, but I like the straighter style of the other one. And it's a 'fisherman' knit which just sounds lovely. And I'm also quite into navy at the moment, though I don't know if I quite fancy a huge jumper in that colour.

I don't know. Decide for me?

  1. Ohhh I know what you mean. I love the shape of the navy but the colour of the black, I think the navy is very proenza schouler though don't you? I'd have to see them on - outfit posts from the changing rooms of topshop! :)

  2. The Fisherman Knit I prefer :)
But that's generally because I prefer more colour. You could wear the navy jumper in the winter even with shorts and grey woolly tights!
But black could drain your face in winter, even if now, in summer, you have a tan.

    Hope I helped,
