At the beginning of the month I decided to try out Eyeko products. Many of the bloggers I like use them and are ambassadors for the company, so I decided to see how good they were for myself. To get the bad part out of the way, I thought their delivery was appalling. They took six days to despatch my items and the company then told me that they would be with me in seven days. It was over two weeks later before they arrived, which seems crazy as I ordered products from Mac the day after and they came three days later with standard postage! However, the postage is the only negative I have. The products themselves are lovely, albeit a lot smaller than I expected them to be. I ordered the Extra Glow and Tinted Cream set and a Fat Balm in Toffee, which is absolutely teeny! I've only used the Tinted cream so far, and I only needed a tiny amount to cover my face, so I'm guessing a little goes a long way with this stuff thankfully. The packaging they come in is also lovely and detailed, which makes up for the basic style of the products themselves. I'm not going to review the things I bought as there are many good reviews on the website and on YouTube, which go into great depth about what they're like.
I used MilkTeef's ambassador code when I made my purchase, which meant that I got the nail varnish free. It's a very pale pink for French manicures, which I don't do that often (if at all) so I might not get a lot of use out of that one! All in all, for the price of the products I think they're really good. However, if you want them quickly, I would use the tracking option for postage rather than the free standard, as it was very frustrating not knowing when or if my products would turn up!

I also bought some hair extensions last week from FoxyLocks. My hair is quite long anyway, but not very thick, so I've debated buying some for a while. I went for the deluxe set in #6 chestnut. They feel quite heavy, but are lovely and soft and incredibly thick! The colour is only a shade different from my own, so they blend just fine. The one thing that worried me about buying some extensions is the association with glamour girls and the glamorous look is not one I aim to achieve. I'm very relaxed with my hair care. A bit of dry shampoo and a quick backcomb is about as far as it goes, so I don't really like the extensions at the moment. However, with a bit of a cut, a tiny bit of layering, and a bit of tousling I'm sure they'll look more me.

Sorry if the post seems a bit off today. I'm not feeling too well and think I've got a lactose intolerance, so I'm coming to terms with the prospect of not having Frijj milkshakes ever again.
What do you think of Eyeko products, and hair extensions for that matter?

I have been a fan of Eyeko and have reviewed their products on my blog but I don't think I'd buy much apart from the nail polishes!
