The Topshop Edited range is a special selection of their top seasonal buys, including their best range of basics, as selected by their head of design, Jacqui Markham. A few times a year I get an urge to clear out my wardrobe and replace my basic section of vests and plain tees. From their Edited range, here's my top selection of basic pieces I'd like to invest in.
I love the pleated midi skirt and chiffon leather front tee, which looks also looks lovely in cream and camel. A plain white tee would have to be my staple piece in any wardrobe. They're always perfect for layering or just for looking effortless with any kind of bottoms.
And speaking of simple, basics - I can't get the perfectly minimal, Calvin Klein dress Emma Stone wore to the Golden Globes, out of my head.

ReplyDeletemy favourite basics have to be vests in black, white and grey. they go with anything and under anything, and can be styled with patterns without clashing!
ReplyDeletei actually over buy everything if it's black, white or grey...simply because i know it will go with anything! i should be more spontaneous and buy things that i wouldn't normally, but i find it so much easier to buy things that i know will go with something in my wardrobe...i'm not the type to pull off anything!

ReplyDeleteMy favourite basics are long-sleeve tshirts. I love layering them. I buy a new set from Primark every year in all the basic colours!
