So I finally got the ASOS floppy hat I've been lusting after for months. My lovely friend Laurie bought it for my 21st and it's one of those things that can pretty much make any outfit infinitely more stylish. I've noticed, wearing it about London and Manchester, that when you wear a hat, you realise just how few people actually wear them. This consequently seems to encourage stares from people as though you have an alien on your head, which I try to ignore while repeating 'my hat looks good and not like an alien' in my mind.
Do you get this kind of hat attention when you wear one? Stares or not, I intend to wear it near enough every day, gales permitting.
I love hats! But you're right, people do stare at you like the hat is some wierd hair-do or you're just crazy!

I know what you mean, I always seem to be the only one wearing a hat as well! I love them though and this floppy one you got is FABULOUS! I want one :D x
ReplyDeleteThis looks so gorgeous on you! I love it with the leopard print! I think people are always wary of wearing hats so are always in awe if other people are brave enough :)
