As readers of DMD will know, I'm a big fan of fantasy Net-A-Porter shopping. In some ways, it's good that I don't have much money, as my bank balance would surely suffer after yesterday's influx of stunning goods. Two brands caught my attention, one of which I'm sure you'll be more than familiar with.
Issa is still having a moment right now after being championed on numerous occasions by the beautiful Middleton sisters. That blue wrap dress sparked indefinite copycat designs across the High Street, which are still going strong today (I saw Primark's version only yesterday), as well as making the Issa brand sell like hot cakes across the globe. Some of the latest designs are truly beautiful, catching my eye with their royal jewel tones and intricate lace detailing, which I'm sure will appeal to Kate if we think of the stunning lace detail she chose for her wedding gown. Issa's designs tread the line perfectly between demure and sexy; classic, yet trend-setting. I can easily see Kate in the green dress and Pippa in the yellow design.
Now, the 2nd brand is a jewellery designer I've just discovered on Net-A-Porter. I don't really cover jewellery trends on this blog as, to be honest, I don't keep up with accessory trends at all. You want to know what hats/colours/skirt lengths you should be wearing right now, you come to me. For jewellery related things, I would advise you to head to my friend Kate at Heart of Solid Gold, the greatest jewellery fanatic I know. Although I rarely indulge in purchases of an accessory nature, I'm a huge of fan exquisite rings, so it's no surprise that the following statement pieces by Philippa Holland caught my eye.
I'm a big fan of quirky jewellery or that which follows the darker, more macabre route so I'm loving Philippa's penchant for bat skulls and beetles.
If like me, you love these labels, you can find them both at Net-A-Porter.

Love the lace dresses especially the green one :) The colours are so pretty X
ReplyDeleteThanks for the mention :) I am in love with both of those rings - shame about their price tags! Did you see Philippa Holland's moth ring? Such a romantic looking ring, with just a hint of the 'darker' side. Such a change from butterflies!
