Once upon a time I was quite a fan of Markus Lupfer. I had a penchant for his collaboration for Topshop in particular, and had assimilated a small collection of his signature knit sweaters with large, yet simple, sequin motifs, until I saw Kerry Katona wearing one whilst picking up her £1 jacket potatoes and beans in Iceland. Since then, he's been pretty much off my fashion radar, but I love this short film he's created featuring the gorgeous, Florence Welch. The film embodies the style of those videos which teachers would show you in a school science lesson where, despite it being 2001, they would insist on using films from the archives of the early seventies. I clearly remember one which vividly depicted how just one sneeze can shower about 50 people in the vicinity with snot particles. I have been mentally scarred ever since. Sadly, such reminiscing overshadowed my acknowledgement of the collection in this instance, but I always love to watch designers' short films and this one is well worth a watch.
