Winter is probably my favourite season for updating my wardrobe. The items are so much bulkier - the coat, the chunky knit - so I feel a greater sense of contentment and happiness from carrying my bulging shopping bags. There are a few staple items you need to have to get you through the cold, dark days of winter. There has to be a coat and a warm jumper, of course, but I'd also recommend some gloves (very sensible), a handbag (you need somewhere to store said gloves and an umbrella), and some new shoes (not quite a necessity, but always a welcome addition). Admittedly, my pick of shoes isn't the most practical of choices for winter, but if I could have any shoes this season I just wouldn't be able to resist the Miu Miu glitter boots. They are the shoes of AW11.

Oh the Miu Miu's.. sigh.. when I tried them on in store I stayed there for about an hour 'cause I didn't want to take them off anymore! Most gorgeous shoes on my feet EVERRR! :)
