Some newbies that I've bought over the last couple of weeks. I finally bought the green maxi skirt I wanted back in the summer, (which would have been perfect for channelling a
Michael Kors SS11 look) in the recent Topshop sale. Typically I've left it a tad late to work that trend, so I'm planning on wearing mine with a black polo neck and some chunky, black ankle boots. Is wearing a polo neck and a maxi skirt too much? At least I'll be warm! I finally got around to spending some of my £200 that I won in the
LOOK Blog Competition on this coat. I've never worn fur before (it's fake, of course), so I've stepped right into the deep end with this one. I feel a bit like a pimp in it, but it's incredibly cosy. You can remove the fur too, which leaves you with a gorgeous masculine style coat, which was also something I'd been coveting for a while. 2-in-1 = perfect! I work in retail at Monsoon, so I recently picked up my new uniform. I instantly fell in love with the sixties feel of the first dress and the
Erdem AW11 print of the second. I feel like I'm getting ready for a night out whenever I head to work in these, but it's kind of nice to feel a bit glamorous in the day time too.
After a fantastic Halloween in Manchester, I'm now paying for it with a cold, so I'm currently wrapped up in bed with one of those hideously disgusting paracetamol drinks. Did you all have a good Halloween? Bought anything nice recently?

ReplyDeleteOh no not the lemon drinks for a cold? They are the most hideous things I have ever attempted to drink (yes I vommed).
ReplyDeleteAside from that horrible imagery I LOVE your coat, I've been lusting after a fur collared coat for a while and I've actually seen a nice mustard one in Primark that I may have to get
xx
