If you've been a follower of my blog for a while, then you can look at this post as a new replacement for my previous 'Wednesday Wishes' feature. About a week before pay day (I'm sure more people than myself do this), I find myself obsessing about certain things I want to buy, but can't yet afford. I'm sure the simple fact that they're unobtainable until my wage comes in makes them that much more desirable. And yet, when pay day comes and goes, my money seems to vanish in a flash, spent on items that bring far less enjoyment and satisfaction than any of the above would. This post (that I'll hopefully keep up - I think even I, 'sporadic blogger of the year', can manage that) will remind me of the things I actually want to invest in.

Yes! As much as I'd like that topshop sweater my rent agreement on my flat would like renewing more. And my phone bill would like to be paid etc. Oh to be able to spend money on exciting things!
