Something for the Weekend

Topshop hat & dress, Accessorize apple necklace, Marc Jacobs mouse ring, Mulberry 'Carter' bag, Dolce Vita 'Jemma' boots

This has been an absolutely incredible week. Every time I think about the good news I've had, I just can't wipe the smile from my face. Being chosen to be one of the five bloggers to attend the Look Show deserves a special post all of its own, when I'm not rushing around after a hectic day, so stayed tuned for part one of my Look Show Diary....

Have a lovely weekend!

Something for the Weekend

Sweater - The Row
Skirt - The Row
Necklace - Philippa Holland
Shoes - Chloe
Ring - Alexander McQueen
Bag - Alexander Wang

This is a real dreamlist this week, right? I'm currently under an obsession with The Row. Their clothes are really stunning - simple, yet with a cool, nonchalant twist which has Olsen style written all over it. I'm also adoring this Alexander Wang 'Trudy' bag - another one to add to the cult list.

Tonight, some of my poetry is being performed at the Anthony Burgess Foundation in Manchester (6pm if you're nearby!) as part of a 'FRESH' event, which celebrates upcoming writing talent in the city. I'm not reading my own pieces as it makes me cringe for some reason, so I'm intrigued to see how they've been interpreted by others - it's all very exciting to be a part of! I also want to say a big thank you to my new and old followers this week for all the feedback you've given to my posts. I really appreciate it and it makes blogging so much more enjoyable to hear your thoughts. I don't tend to reply in posts as I don't know if you check back or not? But know that I look at all your blogs and comment where I can :) Have a lovely weekend!

Something for the Weekend

Sunglasses - Topshop
Bag - Miu Miu
Dress - Dorothy Perkins
Ring - YSL
Shoes - Nine West

I've just booked a trip to London and Paris as a treat for when I've handed in all of my uni work in June, so when I'm diverting my attention away from working, I'm day dreaming of outfits fit for the streets of Paris. There's a real selection on Asos, but including their outfit photos on the blog looks a bit messy because the model comes attached!

I know the blog's been neglected for the past week or so, but it's going to be that way for at least another seven days while I get all of my final year work in (which seems endless!). Leave some comments though and links to your new posts for me to check out when I'm bored of essay writing.

Hope you're all having a lovely week,

Something for the Weekend

It's been too long since a Something for the Weekend post.

Get a giant umbrella to huddle under in the rain. (Is this not the most amazing umbrella you've ever seen?!)

Find your nearest Krispy Kreme, or good doughnut supplier.

Rush back home + a hot choc

+ chilling with krispy kremes, hot chocs and Coco Avant Chanel

Pearl Cocktail Dress
Monsoon
£100

One of the cutest cocktail dresses I've seen in a while.
Something very 'tea with the ladies' yet very Marie Antoinette about it - and the pastel shade will take you easily into the literal tea parties of Spring that of course we all go to...
