The LOOK Show Diaries #2
This is a preview of the dresses I bought yesterday for the Look Show on Saturday. I've got tonsillitis at the moment so, aside from planning this weekend and an upcoming two weeks work experience in London, I'm pretty much sleeping in-between, which is why my posts have been non-existent this week. Hopefully I'll feel a bit better tomorrow and will do some proper outfit posts of my new things! The dresses look so much better in person, but they all need a good deal of accessorising to add some personality and style. I knew I wanted the Topshop 'Adore' boots ages ago, so I went and bought them first to try on with dresses as I went along. Despite them not being that high, they're really uncomfortable, but I'm hoping some of those gel things will help as I'm planning on wearing them with pretty much everything.

Sunday
Sandals - Pedro Garcia
Sunglasses - Linda Farrow Luxe
Bikini - Chloe
Suncream - Nivea
Cocktail - Essential.
I wish I could wear this today in the sunshine. How fabulous is the bikini? I love its pin-up style.
I bought some spray-on fake tan yesterday. It says 'no streaks', but I'm streaked like a zebra (if zebras were brown and white), so I could do with catching up on the real deal.
Feeling sleepy today after my noisy neighbours had a party outside my front door till 5am. I asked them to be quiet, and one of them proceeded to say 'someone's going to get raped in the morning' through my door! The joys of living with those kind of brainless students, eh?
I tried out one of Gem's Tuesday Tips the other day on my nails. It was to create perfect polka dots by using the end of a kirby gripped dipped in your nail varnish of choice. It was trickier than it looked, because either a tiny dot came off or too much did, hence some of the dots are a bit dodgy. I found you need a fair bit of polish on the end so that it gloops down into a perfect circle. With a bit of practice, I think this will be a good technique to make chubby dots, but I find the Models Own nail art pen to be a lot easier. I actually went over most of the dots with it to even them out.
What are you up to on this sunny Sunday?
